Real Madrid have already made two blockbuster moves this summer and the Whites don’t look to be stopping any time soon. They already secured the signature of Serbian striker Luka Jovic and Belgian superstar Eden Hazard, but the club isn’t planning to stop spending money in order to build the perfect team for the upcoming season.
French midfielder Paul Pogba has been on Los Blancos radar for the last couple of months and now looks like the perfect moment for the Spanish side to take him away from Manchester. In order to do so, Real Madrid are prepared to offer Gareth Bale to the Red Devils in an attempt to sweeten a deal for the France international.
After failing to become the team’s leader, Bale is on his way out of Madrid and they plan to use that in their favor and send Bale to England if that facilitates a deal for Pogba. The Mirror claims Real Madrid will use Bale as part of a deal which will bring down the asking price of Pogba, who is now a top priority after Eden Hazard’s deal was closed.
It is thought that United will be looking for a £130 million offer to offload Pogba, but they haven’t made clear what their stance over the future of their record signing is. In fact, the biggest issue for this deal to be completed is the fact that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side hasn’t really shown interest in the Welshman recently and more seeing the huge wage the former Spurs player is getting in the Spanish capital.
If that doesn’t work, Madrid could just sell Bale and recover some of the money they spent in Hazard, Rodrygo, Eder Militao and Luka Jovic. The only certain thing here is that they are eager to part ways with Bale, no matter how they do it.
