There’s a reason he’s one of the best of all-time. There’s also a reason many believe Dwyane Wade has plenty left in the tank.
The future Hall of Famer is enjoying a strong farewell season with the Miami Heat. He is creating this memorable farewell tour by looking a lot more like prime-D-Wade than many would expect.

Shoutout to The Undertaker, because D-Wade went Old School with that one.
The Miami Heat may have lost this game to the Toronto Raptors, but Dwyane Wade continued his strong season. It certainly wasn’t his fault Miami fell.
The 37-year-old dropped 15 points on 7-12 shooting. He also added four assists and three steals as well as two rebounds. Even more impressively, he did so in just 21 minutes.
Wade has always been an incredible slasher. He can get to the basket better than most, and he is one of the best finishers around the rim the NBA has ever seen.
Therefore, it’s not surprising that he is still looking this nimble this late in his career.
Wade is retiring after this season, but he is having a much better year than many would have expected. He is averaging 14.2 points, 4.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. All of those are improvements over his numbers from last season.
More important is the record of the Miami Heat. Even with the loss, they’re currently the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Heat are 31-35 and 0.5 games ahead of the Orlando Magic for that final playoff spot. Despite the small lead, the Heat should feel good about their positioning at the moment. Wade has clearly shown no signs of slowing down, and the supporting cast has looked great recently.
If Dwyane Wade can continue this type of play, the Miami Heat should pick up quite a few more wins before the end of the season. Will we get one more playoff run from D-Wade? We can only hope.
