The truth is being revealed in the NBA this summer. After years of misreporting player information, the league’s quest for facts has a lot of players getting shorter.
One of the most recent teams to release their updated player info is the Boston Celtics.

As expected, center Tacko Fall is the tallest player on the team, standing at 7-foot-5. But that’s actually two inches shorter than his draft listing (7-foot-7). Robert Williams’ height went from 6-foot-10 to 6-foot-8.
New-comer Kemba Walker just cracked the 6-foot mark, standing at exactly 6-feet tall despite the fact that he was listed at 6-foot-1 before.
Jayson Tatum and the other players stayed mostly the same.
The question is, will the team fall short on their own goals this season? They lost key pieces this summer after a disappointing 2018-19 campaign. They are hoping the development of their young stars coupled with the arrival of Kemba Walker will be enough to make some significant noise in the East.
And while they may have lost some height, their fire and motivation to make things right are as tall as ever.
